News

Welcome to one of America’s most popular golf destinations!

We would like to say thank you and give you some important information regarding your golf at French Lick Resort!

Please share this information with other members of your group!

Caddies:

The Pete Dye Course requires a forecaddie with each group. The rate for the forecaddie is $50 per person, per round plus any gratuity earned. Please be generous with gratuity as the caddies are expected not only to work hard for you but to enhance your playing experience and be ambassadors for the Resort and the French Lick area!

Caddies may be available at the Donald Ross Course upon request.

Pairing Groups:

Pairing of single players, twosomes, and threesomes is not something unique to French Lick Resort. All public and resort courses do their very best to have foursomes on the course. Expect to be paired and ENJOY MEETING NEW FRIENDS THROUGH GOLF!

NO COOLERS ARE NOT TO BE BROUGHT ON PREMESIS

We are licensed by the Indiana Alcoholic Beverage Commission, and any such action jeopardizes our license from the state to sell alcoholic beverages

Pace of Play

Target pace is 4.5 hours. We hope to be less, however, at any resort, there are a wide range of skill levels.

Our on-course staff monitor pace and provide assistance. Though infrequent, groups that fall behind may be asked to skip a hole to reestablish course position. SLOW PLAY IS TO BE AVOIDED!

Choose the Tees that are the best fit for YOUR GAME!

It is NO DISGRACE TO PLAY IT FORWARD. Golf is meant to be enjoyable, and you should play the tees that allow that to be the case! ALL PLAYERS MUST HAVE A SET OF CLUBS!

Range Usage

There is no range at the Donald Ross Course. There is a 4-bay warmup net. Range use for Ross is at the Valley Links Course. The Pete Dye Course has a range that can be utilized day of play only.

Appropriate Attire

Men are required to wear golf shirts, no sleeveless, collar preferred, golf shorts or slacks, no gym shorts, Ladies no swimwear or crop tops.

Bag Transportation

As an added feature for our guests, we do offer transportation of golf bags between courses, so after your first round, please see the outdoor or Pro Shop staff at the course to let them know your next round location and your clubs will be there waiting!

OUR NEWEST GOLF OFFERING:

As a warm-up or wind down from a day of golf, don’t overlook our SAND CREEK COURSE. Our new par-3 short course is the perfect place for a late evening skins game, or early morning warm up. You don’t even need to bring clubs as the fee includes clubs, a sleeve of balls and tees!
